Spaceman

Spaceman is a movie based on the 2017 novel “Spaceman of Bohemia” written by Jaroslav Kalfař. Six months into a solitary research mission to the edge of the solar system, an astronaut, Jakub (Adam Sandler), realizes that the marriage he left behind might not be waiting for him when he returns to Earth. Desperate to fix things with his wife, Lenka (Carey Mulligan), he is helped by a mysterious creature from the beginning of time he finds hiding in the bowels of his ship. Hanuš (voiced by Paul Dano) works with Jakub to make sense of what went wrong before it is too late.

Inspired by the incredible true story, “Ordinary Angels” centres on Sharon Steves (Hilary Swank), a fierce but struggling hairdresser in small-town Kentucky, who discovers a renewed sense of purpose when she meets Ed Schmitt (Alan Ritchson), a widower working hard to make ends meet for his two daughters. With his youngest daughter waiting for a liver transplant, Sharon sets her mind to helping the family and will move mountains to do it. What unfolds is the inspiring tale of faith, everyday miracles, and ordinary angels.

Wicked Little Letters

Based on a stranger-than-fiction true story taking place in the 1920s English seaside town of Littlehampton of West Sussex, Wicked Little Letters follows two neighbours: deeply conservative local Edith Swan (Olivia Colman) and rowdy Irish migrant Rose Gooding (Jessie Buckley). When Edith and her fellow residents begin to receive wicked letters full of unintentionally hilarious profanities, foul-mouthed Rose is charged with the crime. The anonymous letters prompt a national uproar, and a trial ensues. However, as the town’s women led by Police Officer Gladys Moss (Anjana Vasan) begin to investigate the crime themselves, they suspect that something is amiss, and Rose may not be the culprit after all.

Based upon recently declassified files of the British War Department and inspired by true events, The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare is an action-comedy that tells the story of the first-ever special forces organization formed during WWII by then UK Prime MinisterWinston Churchill” and a small group of military officials including author Ian Fleming.
